Intermediate Back to School Bundle: Aug 24 - Sept 4

Welcome to Back to School Camp at Skill Samurai!  As the new school year appraches, these camps are designed to give students head start.  The program is perfect for children aged 10 to 12 who are eager to dive into the world of game design while also getting ready to return to the classroom.

In the Back to School Camps we introduce campers to three dynamic platforms: Scratch, MCreator, and Roblox Studio.  While they can explore all platforms they also have the freedon to focus on the ones they find most engaging.  This personalized approach ensures each child finds their passion and maximizes their camp experience.

Our structured daily schedule mirrors a typical school day, offering a blend of focused learning and fun activities.  Game-building sessions last about an hour, with off-screen breaks in between to enjoy the outdoors (weather permitting) or play games indoors. This balance helps maintain a productive and enjoyable environment, reinforcing the importance of both fun and play.

Beyond just creatint games, campers will develop valuable skills such as attention to detail, problem solving, and critical thinking - Skills that will help them hit the ground running when they return to school.  These experiences will not only boost their creativitybut also prepare them for acedemic success and the challenges of a new sschool year.

On Fridays, we invite parents to our special Show Case event, where campers proudly present their creations. It’s a wonderful opportunity for children to showcase their hard work and share their achievements with family.
